January digital releases sneak peek!

We bet we know what you’re thinking – yes, classic Kaisercraft collections turned digi are good, but when are we going to see some brand new digital ranges?

Well, let’s just say the wait is nearly over, with four all new, original, funky themed digital collections coming your way all next next month!

Just like last year, we’ll be releasing new digital collections every week throughout January, starting with a delicious treat called Candy Shop.

Bright splashes of all your favourite summer hues, including pale lime green, musk pink, sunshine yellow and tangerine, in swirled, patterned, striped and plain papers co-ordinated with coloreful  buttons, flowers, ribbons, tags and frames…it’s the perfect sunny and light-hearted way to scrap both digi and hybrid projects!

Here’s a sneak peek of our next collection, to be released on January 4 – it’s sweet as sugar and just as hard to resist!

We’re counting down the days til the release of our first original digital collection since August – check out the website on January 4 to download Candy Shop!

Tuesday Tip – making your own glitter paper

Tuesdays-Tips-27

“A big THANK YOU to Jowilna Nolte, fellow SA scrapper, blogger, author and cardmaker for this gorgeous tip on using glitter that she has shared with us at the SA Scrapbooking Convention. Now, with her permission, I can share this with all of you! Do take the time to visit her blog: www.jowilnanolte.blogspot.com for more scrapbooking and cardmaking inspiration.”

” This is such a gorgeous technique to make your own glitter paper to use for scrapbooking or cardmaking. With Christmas just around the corner, you can use this technique to “glitter-up” your Christmas scrapping and make you pages very festive!”

“Or you can also use this technique to “soften” the colour of paper….the glitter will subdue the colour.”

MAKING YOUR OWN GLITTER PAPER:

1. Working with glitter is a messy business….so, cover your workspace!

What you need_UPLOAD

2. What you will need:

*double sided tape

*glitter

*paper strips – the same width as your double sided tape

Step 3.

Cover your paperstrips with double sided tape

{The broader your double sided tape, the broader the paperstrips you can prepare!

Step 4.

Peel back the backing strip from the double sided foam tape and pour generous amounts of glitter onto the paperstrip

Shake off the excess glitter and place back into your glitter container

Step 5.

The result…………..gorgeous glitter paper!

And here is the Christmas card that I made using my glitter-paperstrips……………..
