2010-2011 Kaisercraft DT call out
Kaisercraft are looking for a fresh group of scrapbook and card designers to be on our design team from July 2010 – July 2011.
If you’re interested in applying, please email us the following information:
* Your full name, email address, phone number and address.
* A link to your blog and/or online gallery.
*Previous/current Design Team/teaching knowledge.
*A short biography (100 words max), as well as describing your scrapbooking style, favourite products and techniques.
Along with this, please attach images of:
* 1x Double page layout
* 2x Single page layout
* 2 projects – Either a home decor project OR beyond-the-page project OR card (this can be any combination).
Also, please write a sample blog post for two projects you submit. Part of your job a member of Kaisercraft’s Design Team will be as much about writing posts on our blog, as it will be creating projects with our products. The sample post should include details of techniques used; products used and should also give us a glimpse of your personality.
Successful applicants will be required to:
Complete 1 x layout, 1x beyond-the-page project and 1x home decor item/card per collection along with projects using new core products.
Complete rostered weekly blog posts, along with supplying projects for specific blog theme posts (Saturday sketches/Tuesday Tips etc).
Complete occasional projects for Kaisercraft Workshop magazine, trade shows and promotional activities.
Successful applicants will receive:
Renumeration for published projects.
Product packs in the mail when products are released (every month/quarter).
Email your application to designteam@kaisercraft<dot>com<dot>au with the subject line, “2010 DT application – your name”.
Applications close 30 May 2010 (AEST).
Applications are open to all international crafters.
*NOTE: We are aware that some people are having problem’s with their applications. Please keep images to 600×600 pixels and limit the number of images you have – otherwise they will not make it through. If you are having a number of ‘bounce backs’ – please forward your email to sales@kaisercraft<dot>com<dot>au

Hi Renee, You don’t have to, however it is the preferred option, as we want to see how our applicants work with Kaisercraft products.

I love love love love LOVE Kaisercraft – even did a blog post about all the reasons after CHA 2009 – Summer when I first discovered Kaisercraft. Can’t wait to work on my submission. Super excited about this!

Just checking on the 2 projects – is it 2 home decor, 2 BTP or 2 cards, or any combination as long as the total is 2, eg, 1 card and 1 BTP?

Do you want each photo to be limited in file size, eg 500KB? Is there a limit to the number of photos that can be emailed … I’m thinking that mini albums will need a lot more photos than a layout. Thanks
Hi Sarah – you can use bazzill and other items. Sandra, we dont want a million photos – just enough to show your projects and keep images low res.

When you say it closes on the 30th do you mean applications in by midnight on the 29th or by midnight 30th?
