We know…… you’re just hanging to see what our Creative Team has come up with, right??
First up, a gorgeous page from Katharyn Brine – we adore her clean style!!
Here’s what she had to say about her layout,
“This layout showcases a storyboard using five successive photos of my daughter trying on a new goggles and snorkel set”.
“The edges of the photos are “grunged out” using a photo mask, with the focal photo in the middle of a love-heart frame. I then cut the papers using the rectangle marquee tool and Cntrl-C. After returning to your layout page, Cntrl-V pastes the marqueed section straight onto a new layer. I journalled a few phrases from Dana’s perspective, but felt it wasn’t enough to tell the story, so I used the textpath that came with a layered-template (from my stash) to write some more explanatory journalling. Because the second lot of text was partially upside-down, I used an easy-to-read san serif font”.

Brittney decided to skip the ‘flowery’ parts of this kit also and said,
“I chose to grab at the travel parts of this layout. I do girly all the time and was rather more inspired from our recent trip to Seoul as a chance to capture those memories and the experience of moving over seas”.

Next, Leah Farquharson said, “One of the great things about using digital products is their versatility”.
“The next time you open a kit, try looking at the elements again – don’t just view them for what they are, think outside of the box and try to visualize what they can become! In this particular layout, I took the very same raffia bow that I layered under the flowers, “cut” the loop off, shrunk it down and used it to “hang” my tag! This is a super simple thing to do. Just position your loop over the top of your tag, and erase the portion that would naturally fall behind the tag! Add your drop-shadow, and you’re all set!”

Next up, a gorgeous layout from Kathleen!
