Kaisercraft Gift Ideas – memo block and pencil holder

Today Elizna and I have made the memo block in Peachy Keen and Gypsy Sisters, both of these projects are quick and easy to make, Elizna has painted the edges of her memo block and I have cut thin strips of patterned paper and covered the edges.

MEMO BLOCK – Elizna

“This is such a quick and easy project! A stunning little gift for a friend… First I painted the edges with brown Kaisercraft paint.
Once it was dry, it took  only a few minutes to complete the rest of the Memo Block.
I used paper from the Peachy Keen Collection.
I love flocked paper and used some from the 6×6 paper pad.
For the sides I used Kaisercraft Small Alphas to write the words “REMEMBER” & “NOTES”.
I stamped leaves with a clear stamp from the Peachy Keen collection {CS739} to add a little detail.”

Products Used: Peachy Keen papers, Peachy Keen stamp, Kaisercraft paint (brown) Kaisercraft Mini Alpha stickers, Memo Block
Memo Block and Pen Holder – Rona
I have used the Gypsy Sisters range to decorate the memo block and pen holder, I have cut thin strips of the paper to cover the edges of the items, I used some of the papers from the paper pad to embellish the projects, as the patterns are smaller than the 12 x 12 sheets of paper.
Products Used: Gypsy Sisters papers, Gypsy Sisters paper pad, Gypsy Sisters alpha stickers, memo block, table tidy

Tuesday Tip – Creating window cards using die cuts

This week, our tip has come from Tanya:

After using your die cut elements why not try using the leftover die cut sheet to make some window cards?  All you need to do is cut a ‘window’ from your cardstock base to the size of the die cut sheet you are using, adhere the sheet over the top of the window and create your card around it!  This is a simple way of getting the most out of your supplies and it makes really effective cards too.
