Devonshire delights
Hi there everyone! This week’s blog posts are brought to you by Alicia and Pam.
We’re starting the week by showing you our layouts made with the Devonshire collection. This is such a versatile collection-great for shabby chic pages, clean and simple style, and great for kids pages too! We love it!!
Here’s Pam’s layout:
Pam Thorburn, ‘Grandmother’s Love’, Devonshire papers, Diecuts and Embellishments, Inks
You can find a tutorial for the paper roses here.
Here is a layout by Alicia.
Alicia Barry. Materials used: Devonshire papers, rubons, alphabet stickers, paper pad, mini alphabet stickers, Little Man stamp.
When looking at the Devonshire collection as a whole, the mind instantly wanders to elegant heritage layouts, however by selecting the more generic patterns, it can easily suit a much wider range of themes. For my photo, I wanted a masculine feel, that would suit both the age ranges of my subjects. I achieved this by choosing bold simple patterns from the collection, and using the swirls, rather than the florals.
