Going Beyond The Page Christmas Style
Monika, Camilla, and Christy back today to share more projects using both new Christmas collections and some awesome new Beyond the Page items recently released by Kaisercraft. We hope you like what we have to share today and that we’re getting you thinking about those Christmas projects on your to-do-list! Enjoy!
Christy: The new Be Merry collection is a wonderfully versatile grouping of papers and embellishments. I really like all the bright colors and yet there are some great distressed and toned down choices as well. I paired my project today with the Scalloped Tree Album and recorded our Christmas highlights from last year.
Album: Scallop Tree Album SB2080
Patterened Paper: Be Merry P556, P559, P560
Paper Pack: Be Merry PP829
Chipboard: Be Merry CB114
Diecuts: Be Merry DC325
Rub-ons: Be Merry RB875, RB876
Fibers: Kaisercraft Organza/Natural RI613, Grossgrain/Lovely RI605
Pearl Brads: Kaisercraft Pearl Brads Blush SB716
Camilla: The Holly Wreath is absolutely gorgeous. I made it quite traditional using the Be Merry collection. And then used the gold paint for the chipboard letters. It says “God Jul”, which means “Happy Christmas”.
BTP “God Jul” – Camilla Ekman: Holly Wreath (SB2078); Be Merry papers: Happy (P560); Journal Tags (JT605); Kaiser Colour – Metallic gold (KC050); Lace Pack – natural (EM928); Mini Alphas – cream (MA505); Pearl Brads – latte (EM931); Rhinestones – silver (SB700); Alpha Chipboard (CB107)
Other: punch, chalk
Monika: Last christmas, we visited Santa. We do that every year and every year my photos tend to be less than good. This time was no exception. When I take blurry photos I can sometimes rescue them by adding a few photo filters in Photoshop. This one looks like an old photo or drawn picture and it seamd perfect for this cute scalloped hanging tree.
I painted the chipboard letters with white color and then sprinkled glitter on them. I love the result even though I don’t quit like the result in my scrap room, which I prefer without glitter…
Items used:
‘Tis the season Choir P563, Paper pad PP830, Die Cuts DC326, Pearl brads EM930 Pearl, Organza Ribbons RI616, Chipboard letters CB107
