Be Merry
Monika, Camilla, and Christy sharing a few layouts with you today using the Be Merry Collection. Bright, cheery, fun is the best way to describe these papers, perfect for so many Christmas projects!
Christy: Keeping the focus on the pictures I used some of the “B” sides of these papers taking advantage of the wonderful traditional Christmas colors we associated with this Holiday. My little guy is such a character and watching him open his gifts this year was a blast. He finally understands the meaning of the word “present” and his love for life is a gift in itself.
Patterned Paper: Be Merry P559 & p560
Chipboard: Be Merry CB114
Alphabet Stickers: Kaisercraft AS221 White, MA508 Cherry
Fiber: Shabby Green Door
Camilla: The colours of Be Merry are so bright and clear. Love it! The buns in my photos are saffron buns, which are called lussekatter or lussebullar in Swedish. They are delicious. We always makes them for December 13th when we celebrate Lucia in Sweden.
Layout “Lussekatter” – Camilla Ekman: Be Merry papers: Cheer (P558), Chirpy (P559); Rubons (RB876); Mini Alpha Stickers – cherry red (MA508); Journal Tags (JT605); Alpha Stickers – red (AS224); Pearls – snow (SB794)
Other: Magnolia and Qk dies
Monika: The colors of the be Merry collection are so bright and happy which is why I chose a photo that has a bit less color. This makes the layout more harmonic and both the bright colors and the photo gets the attention. I cut out the glittery leaves from the Bliss Specialty paper and placed them behind the flowers.
