Merry & Bright

Hello again. Don’t you just love the sentiment and warmth that goes along with the christmas season.  This is such a precious photo of my daughter, so peaceful. This range appears quite bright at first, as the name suggests, but you can see from this layout, that it can also be used in a more subtle way.

Night before Christmas – Nerrida Mitchell. Materials: Be Merry papers – Glee (P557) & Delight (P561), Bliss specialty paper (PS114), Printed Chipboard (CB114, Diecuts (DC325), Rub-ons (RB875), Lace – natural (EM928), Wooden flourishes – corners (SB730), Wooden keys (FL306), Lipstick ink (IP714), Flowers – Taupe (F603), Chipboard alpha #1 (CB107).

Lesley says I love the fresh bright and happy colours in this range. With the layout “Tree” I have cut out circles from the Glee patterned paper and glued onto cardboard. I used black kindy glitz as the ‘string’. I put clear crackle paint over the title and embellishments.

“Tree” – Lesley Cooper: Be Merry Paper Collection – Patterned Papers Happy (P560), Cheer (P558), Glee (P557); Printed Chipboard (CB114); Paper Pad (PP829); Mini Journal Tags (JT605); Mini Alpha Stickers (MA508), Alpha Stickers (AS218)

With the layout “Photo” I have used the mini and tiny alphas to create spiral journaling around the photo. I used the small tree rub ons as fullstops.
