How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start? Almost 10 years. I started out with card making, but after giving them away, didn’t have anything to show for my work, so while I still make cards, scrapping was a great alternative. I became more serious about it once my first son was born.
Where do you get your inspiration from Often from patterned paper itself. I like to make embellishments from the papers. I also look to magazines and blogs from time to time.
Favourite subject to scrap – My children of course.
One word to describe yourself? Obsessive
How would you describe your scrapping style? Quite dimensional. The bulkier the better.
Favourite Kaisercraft Product? Rhinestones
Favourite Kaisercraft Paper range to date? I’m really not sure I can pick only one, but Country Grove is one of my many favourites.
Favourite Quote? Everything happens for a reason.
Favourite book? Anne of Green Gables.(yes, even as an adult)
Favourite Music? Scissor Sisters, Rogue Traders
Favourite Food? Chocolate!
Any tips for a New Scrapper? Start simple, and when you are ready to try something new, try a basic scrap lift of a layout or style that you really like. You will be surprised at how much easier it may be to pick up a technique, by mimicking something you have already seen, and then the next step to making it your own is far easier.
