- Your preferred name: Cassandra

- A short paragraph about you: Hi my name is Cassandra. I live in Geelong, Victoria with my husband and two Labrador Retrievers. I started scrapbooking 3 years ago and my passion for this industry just continues to grow!

I have been on several online Design Teams, and am currently designing and teaching classes at Chandon Craft. My favourite past times are spent creating Beyond The Page projects in a vintage/distressed style. I have also recently gained my Intermediate Copic Certification and truly love stamping and cardmaking.

I am honoured to be chosen for the Kaisercraft 2011-2012 Design Team.

- Name – Cassandra

- Kaiser craft Forum member name – Cassandra

- Blog Address – http://cassiesscraps.blogspot.com/

- How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start? I’ve been scrapbooking for 3 years now. I was always interested in scrapbooking, but it wasn’t until a friend took me into a local scrap shop that I knew I had to start creating!

- Where do you get your inspiration from? I get a lot of inspiration from blog surfing and some scrapbooking magazines. But, if I see one piece of scrapbooking paper it can inspire me enough to create an entire project around that one piece of paper.

- Favourite subject to scrap – My favourite subject to scrap are my two Labrador Retrievers, Missy and Belle and also old vintage family photo’s.

- One word to describe yourself? Unusual.

-          How would you describe your scrapping style? I think I would have to describe my scrapping style as vintage/distressed. I love any old, messy look. I don’t like things to look so perfect, but rather more individual.

- Favourite Kaisercraft Product? From the very beginning I have been drawn to the Kaisercraft Home Décor and Beyond The Page products. They provide such unlimited possibilities!

- Favourite Kaisercraft Paper range to date? I just love the “Timeless” collection, it is soooo versatile.

- Favourite Quote? “Don’t dream it, be it” (unknown)

-          Favourite book? Marley & Me by John Grogan

- Favourite Music? A mix of everything from 80’s Power Ballads to Lady Ga Ga and Snoop Dog.

- Favourite Food? Cheese and garlic pizza.

- Any tips for a New Scrapper? Don’t be afraid to try new products/techniques. And be sure to do some product research before making big purchases.
