Christmas Flourishes and Sparklets
Hello everyone!
I hope you’re having a great weekend. Today we have more inspiration for you with our NEW products: Christmas Flourishes and Sparkelts and how they can be used in all sorts of unique projects. To help us out we have Pearl Lui, Ann-Katrin Toresen and Toni Crane from our Contributing Design Team!

“Joy” Card By Pearl Lui

Materials Used:
Flourish Pack – Reindeer (FL364), Sparklets in Rouge (RS416) and Crystal (RS408);
Other: Bazzill card stock, doily, Zig pen, twine
Pearl says:
“The Christmas Flourishes are perfect painted or bare and the Sparlets are perfect to brighten any project. For this card, I wanted to show how a bare flourish can be dressed up with some Sparklets attached to the reindeer’s antlers as dangling ornaments. Add some twine, a doily, and flag with a simple sentiment, and you have yourself a simple, fun and sparkly card.

“Christmas Plaque” By Toni Crane

Materials Used:
Wood Plaque (W066), Wooden Flourish Reindeer (FL364), Wooden Flourish Sleigh (FL362), Wooden Flourish Trees (FL359), December 25th Alpha Sticker Sheet (SS110), December 25th Jewels (RS423), Kaisercraft Rhinestones Silver (SB700), Kaisercraft Rub ons Merry Christmas (RB837), Kaisercraft Sparklets Crystal (RS408), Kaisercraft Clear Stamp Music (CS757).
Other: Paint, Ink, Kindyglitz, Bead chain
Toni Says:
“Greet your family and friends at Christmas with this plaque showing Santa’s reindeers pulling his sleigh. The Kaisercraft wooden flourishes can add a special touch to your projects. Even though they are delicate, being made of wood, means they are stronger than chipboard and work wonderfully on display projects like this plaque.
The sparklets add the mega-bling required for a Christmas project and I’ve used them here where the hangers would go to hang the plaque, and added kindyglitz to the flourishes for that extra sparkle.

“Little Boxes” by Michelle Frisby

Materials List:
Silly Season: Paper Pad (PP851), Chipboard (CB133)/ Paper Tags & Shapes -white (EM923)

Michelle says:
“It just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t make some type of little box from this collection and so I had to make a stack of three boxes as a gift. I’ve used the gorgeous papers straight from the Silly Season paper pad and folded them to make my boxes, added some fancy bauble ribbon, tied on a piece of chipboard as a decoration and added a couple of tags and there you have it. I will fill these wee boxes with scrapping treasures for a friend for Christmas.”

“Christmas Train Tidy” by Michelle Frisby

Materials List:
December 25th: Paper Pad (PP850), Noel (P718), Festive (P717) / Train Tidy (SB2040) / Album Rings – white (M021) / Paint – white (KC001), antique white (KC002), metallic gold (KC050) / Wooden Flourish /FL365) / Sparklets -crystal (RS408) // Other Materials: ink, distress crackle paint, rosette die, Christmas baubles, brads, pipe cleaners, glitter, polystyrene balls, ribbon, felt, Dacron, hot glue gun.

Michelle says:
“I knew as soon as I saw the papers from this collection I wanted to make up a Christmas train. Lots of paint – a mix of white paint, antique white and a little metallic gold was used on the wooden base. I’ve covered the carriages and engine in a variety of papers from the December 25th collection, both 12×12 papers and papers from the paper pad. I’ve used a little distress crackle paint, well actually a whole lot of crackle paint and I’ve rubbed over a little pinecone ink as well.
My train was a little bare, it just didn’t quite look right and so I decided to make some snowmen and I think that they have brought my train to life. I even made them little hats … too cute.
I’ve made rosette flowers for my wheels and popped on some darling wee Sparklets to give them a little sparkle and some oomph.
I adore my wee Snowmen train and let’s just say … it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas in my house.”
