Down by the sea – Cards with the Rock Pool Collection.

Michelle Says:
“They are gorgeous! Have you seen them yet in your local scrapbook shop? I’m talking about the Rock Pool creatures in this month’s release from Kaisercraft. Honestly – there are heaps of little critters that can be found under the sea, under the rocks, on the sand, everywhere! Let’s see how myself and and Lori have used this ever-so-cute collection!”

‘Under the Sea’ Card by Michelle Frisby

Materials used : PP868, Coconut Card Stock,  Foam Adhesive, CT713 Collectables Rock Pool, CT714 Collectables – Rock Pool – Sea Friends
Extras : googly eye, ink

Michelle says:
“I created a step card. I used one piece of paper from the 6.5” x 6.5” paper pad, inked some of those delightful collectable die cuts, a little adhesive and some mounting foam and just like that … you’re done. It really doesn’t get any simpler than that. Just for fun, I added one of those wee sticky googly eyes – well that’s what I call them. Happy creating everyone.”

“Hello Friend” Card by Lori Williams Leng

Lori says:
“This adorable card would work for an adult or a child, that’s one of the beauties about Rock Pool. I sure would be happy to see this little guy popping out to say hi to me.  The wooden flourishes were a great add-on to use with this collection, and they work so well just using them bare.”

Hi all!  Today we have Michelle and Lori from the design team sharing some beautiful cards using the Magnolia Grove Collection.  They really are stunning so take a look and let us know what you think in the comments.

“Magnolia Grove Vintage Card” by Lori Williams Leng

Lori Says:
“I’m curious if everyone is loving the Magnolia Grove Collection as much as I am?!  Isn’t it just down right pretty?  I also love the way the new Vintage Clear Stamps coordinate with this collection.  I embossed the stamp so it would really pop and then fussy cut it out .”

Kaisercraft Products Used : PP869 Magnolia Grove Paper Pad, EM934 Ice Green Pearl Brad, CS832 Believe- Vintage Clear Stamp, SS136 Magnolia Grove Sticker Sheet

Other Products Used: Seam Binding, Cheery Lynn Dies, Embossing Powder, Distress Ink

Just for you by Michelle Frisby

Materials used : P845 Lavish, CT715 Collectables, IP721 Gum Leaf Ink, F657 Fairy Floss Mini Paper Blooms, F646 Butter Cream Mini Paper Blooms, Foam Adhesive

Extras : almond cream cardstock, seam binding, embroidery thread, gesso

Michelle says:
“I started this card off as a double pocket card to put tags in and then had a change of mind.  Well I have made the double pockets, but then decided to close them with adhesive after I had tucked in some of the gorgeous collectables die cuts.  I’ve added hand stitching around the edge of my card, tied a little seam binding around the card and then adhered it to card stock.
I’ve used one of the new luscious Ink Pads- ‘Gum Leaf’ and let me share something with you … ooh-la-la … they are little beauties, they are so rich and creamy.
On the top I’ve added another die cut and a few mini paper blooms and voila.

There you have it.  Happy creating everyone”.
