Glue Arts Week – Kerryn Lawson
Hello! I hope you are enjoying our Glue Arts week so far.
Today I am going to share a layout I made using the Glue Arts glider pro, micro adhesive squares and half inch adhesive squares.
If time saving appeals to you then the Glider pro is the tool you need. I love my double sided tape but by the time you cut a piece, stick it down and then remove the backing you could already be done if you were using the Glider pro. It is so easy to use.
But if you thought I loved the Glider Pro, it is quite possible I love the adhesive squares even more. They are perfect for adding small embellishments to your page, like buttons. Press the button to the adhesive square and lift, then add it to your page. So easy!
The other great thing about the adhesive square is that you can layer them to add subtle height, without going to the full on height of foam tape.
But if you do want height then reach for your Raise n’s. They are a great size and add a nice bit of height to your embellishment.
And here is the completed page.

Glue Arts Products Used : Glueglider Pro, Micro Adhesive Squares, Half inch adhesive squares & Raise n’s.
Products Used : Fun Fair pp – Ringmaster (P379), Trapeze (P378), Sideshow (P376), Class of 87 pp – Excursion (P622), Rhinestones – Black (SB777), Island Lagoon (RS402), Yellow (SB709), Droplets – Black (SB1515), Party Animals pp – Surprise (P660), Paper tags & shapes – Raw (EM925), Printed chipboard – Up, up & away (CB111) & Bubblegum Hills (CB124), Class of 87 Die cut elements (DC334), Alpha chipboard # 2 (CB108), black rubons – Laugh (RB909).
Other Products Used : buttons, twine, book page, dymo tape, punch.
The Glue Arts adhesives made it so easy to create a new layered chipboard piece.
The adhesive squares were perfect to use when creating this banner. I find double sided tape a bit frustrating on these because they don’t hold well enough and liquid adhesive is a bit too fiddly and messy, but the adhesive squares hold tight and leave no mess. Perfect!

Guest Designer – March

Helen Westen

I work as a registered nurse in elderly care, but in my spare time there’s nothing I love more than keeping busy with a scrapbooking project! It really is like therapy and I love being part of the scrapbooking world!
My style would probably be described as vintage, as I have a passion for distress ink, scraped edges and lots of layering! I love using lots of embellishments, creating a 3D feel to my projects. I love the diversity of scrapbooking and I’ll make anything from layouts and cards to altered art. I’m always willing to try new techniques!
