Christmas Beyond-the-Page projects
Get in the festive spirit and make your own Christmas Beyond-the-Page projects.
Inspiration from our Design Team!
Tanya has created this gorgeous table centrepiece.

“I decided to use the Tree Card Holder as a table centrepiece. To decorate the tree, I have used a rectangle scallop punch to punch out small strips of paper, curling each rectangle before sticking them to the tree. Once the tree was covered, I trimmed off the excess along the edges and then embellished the tree with the baubles, star, words and ribbon. ”

Next up, Renee has created these ‘Jumbo Card hangings’
“Take a jumbo playing card and turn it into a hanging decoration by layering it with co-ordinating papers and embellishments, and hanging it from a small wire coat hanger.”

Materials: Dear Santa collection, Brads (BD402), Die cut Elements (DC302), Ink pads (IP702), Flowers Burgundy (F611), Rhinestones-Black (SB777), Rhinestone Strip (RS451).
Step to create your own:
1. Trace around Jumbo playing cards onto your choice of Dear Santa paper.
2. Cut this out and attach to the playing card using double sided tape.
3. Decorate further with co-ordinating papers that have been distressed by scrunching, inking or running scissors along the edge. Add some hand drawn stitches and ink the edges of the card.
4. Embellish with lace and rhinestones and some glitter glue for a bit of sparkle (it is Christmas after all).
4. Tie a lace bow around a mini wire coat hanger and glue on a paper flower and any other embellishments (I used some cute metal flowers). Using small craft pegs attach the card to the hanger for a completed Christmas decoration.
Rona has made a cute Christmas journal using our NEW Christmas Tree Journal (SB2063) using our Belle collection, with elements from Dear Santa…. How gorgeous is her felt binding covering her album rings?
Here’s a few tips from Rona!!
* Rub ink pads across raw wood as a background
* Using the fiskars “upper Crest” punch, I cut strips of paper and edged them with the punch, I inked and layered these strips to create the christmas tree.
* Note pad pages were used to make the lists,
* The binding is a piece of felt, onto which I sewed some ribbons and lace and then blanket stiched around the edge, before sticking to the edge of the album.

Christine has used the same journal, but created a very different looking keepsake – clean and simple!
We couldn’t decide which we liked more!!

Renee has also created a gorgeous Triple Frame display for her Christmas display:
“A set of Christmas decorations is easy to make using the Kaisercraft Triple Frame Set.”
How to make them: Use the die cut elements rub-ons (apply to acetate first if needed) and stamps to embellish each frame. For the square frame trace a 3 inch square around one of the flowers from the Clara paper. Divide this square into nine 1inch squares. Adhere the paper to 1inch square chipboard and add to frame.

Materials: Kaisercraft Triple Frame Set (SB2062), Belle Collection, Die cut elements (DC303), Colour rub-ons (RB829), Black Rub-ons (RB830), Clear Stamps (CS728), Embellishment pack (EM903), Ink Pads (IP703), Pearls Pearl (SB713).
Pam made a clever card below using Belle patterned paper:

And also a clever wreath using our NEW Star Wreath (SB2064):
“As as you can see I just used the small stars, and added ‘lollipop’ flowers made from ‘Belle’ papers. these were genersously squirted with glimmer mists for a bit of shine. Some ribbon tied between the starts completes the wreath”.

And last, but certainly, not least, Fran Tynan has created another Star Wreath using the Dear Santa collection, and covering three stars with her Children’s photos – how cute!!
We love it Fran!!

Happy Christmas scrapping, we hope we’ve inspired you to create something special for you Christmas display at home!
