Clever Christmas layout titles
Today we’re featuring clever titles in Christmas layouts made by our Design Team!
The first up – Sam’s layout using one of our ‘Swing tags’ from the packaging on our collections!
“For the Dear Santa layout I just had to use one of the product Tags for my title. I just couldnt go past the “Dear Santa” when I was making a layout about my son’s Christmas wish list. It makes a very inexpensive title and looks great too”.
‘Dear Santa’ layout by Samantha Hauzer: Dear Santa patterned paper paper, die cut elements and ink. Also ‘Swing tag’ from packaging.
‘My wish for you’ layout by Nikki Antonello: Belle patterned papers, embroidered badge, rubons, brads, die cut elements. Kaisercraft chipbaord.
And Nikki has created another title, we love it “All wrapped up for Christmas”!
‘All wrapped up for Christmas’ layout by Nikki Antonello: Dear Santa patterned paper, clear stamp, alpha stickers, brads.
“I really love the texture and dimension that the embroidered badges add to a layout. I thought that the font used on the “Joy” badge was really sweet and would make an effective title when combined with the alpha stickers and chipboard for this page. The addition of some machine stitching, a small length of ribbon at the top of the page and the poinsettia embroidered badge helped create a very simple but tactile page to tell this story”.
‘Xmas Joy’ layout by Christine Rumley: Belle paper collection, embroidered badges, stamp, ribbon, alpha stickers, alpha chipboard; Other: thread
Next up is a layout by Renee,
Tip: Placing the words of your title at right angles adds interest and frames the main elements of your page.
‘Christmas light’ layout by Renee Ludlow: Dear Santa Collection, Colour Rub-ons (RB827), Brad pack (BD402, Die cut elements (DC302), Alpha Stickers (AS202), Clear Stamps (CS727), Ink pad (IP702), Rhinestones-Black ( SB777).
And another layout from Sam, this time using a mixture of alpha stickers and a wood flourish – covering her photo!
“The photo I used on this layout had a lot of space on the left hand side, so it made the perfect place to put my title. I just stuck my letter stickers straight onto the photo and used the wooden Christmas word under the photo to finish my title off. Using different types of lettering for a title, such as stickers and wooden words, keeps the layout interesting and adds a bit of different texture”.
‘The magic of christmas’ layout by Samantha Hauzer:Belle papers and letter stickers, wooden flourish and word, pearls, ink
Next up, a layout from Nancy using the patterned paper for her title,
‘Twas’ the night before Christmas’ layout by Nancy Burke: Dear Santa patterned paper, die cut elements, Kaisercraft pearls, wood flourishes.
As a mini Merry-Christmas present – we’re also giving you the chance to WIN a Dear Santa prize pack to the value of $25!
Just comment on this blog post with a link to a recent Christmas layout you’ve made (with a clever title), or a quirky/clever title you will be adding to a Christmas layout before 11.59pm tonight (Wed 9th Dec, AEDST) for your chance to win!

Love the use of embellishments, especially the ones used in unexpected ways – well done all.
I’m in the process of doing a LO for a cc and the title I was thinking of is “Santa’s Little Helpers”. The photo I’m using is both of my boys when they were younger with home made beards and their Santa hats standing in front of the Christmas tree we had at the time. Very cute.
This isn’t necessarily a clever christmas title, just a little different. My DD is and never has been into Barbies or dolls of an description. Which is why we were boggled by her christmas list that included nothing BUT Barbie stuff. No dolls though, just Barbie movies, books and colouring in books. LOL she’s a funny kid. My layout is here; http://kerrynlawson.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-list.html
Well my title for my layou will be
christmas angels……NOT. with all those photos of the kids pulling faces turning around hitting each other and of course (well hopefully) surrounding the one good photo!!
Im planning on doing a LO with a christmas picture of my 12 month old son wearing a Santa hat and making the title
“Santa Baby”. Like the song.
My favourite title and one I could use almost every year
“Is It Too Late To Be Good?”
Well here is my link- http://osirisandloki.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-special-advent-calendar.html
And my title is “Xmas is coming”.
Not a clever title by itself but i thought it was quite good when it was with my LO on my kaisercraft Advent calendar.
I hope you like the LO and OTP project!
tara
My youngest son was due the 30 December but came early on the 2nd December, although he was ill and landed up in ICU we got to take him home before christmas and still got a photo of him with father christmas!!!
So I am busy scrapping this pic now and my title is ‘an EARLY christmas present!’
I just finish an album with the title “It’s the most wonderful time…”. Not original, but it has the “xmas feeling” without saying it’s xmas!
I LOVE all the LO’s!!!!
I haven’t done a single Christmas LO yet! But when I finally do, I want to use this title: Merry Kissmas.
Those examples are gorgeous – I love the cards particularly. I can never make heaps of individual cards at Christmas time! They’re all mass-produced! LOL
I have a beautiful picture of my husband holding my son while they were looking at Christmas lights last year. Their faces are all lit up by the decorations and my son is reaching out to them all. I’ll be using a lovely quote as my title…
It is Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air. ~W.T. Ellis
Sadly I haven’t had time to make the LO yet! But it’s all planned in my head!
