How long have you been scrapping for and why did you start? I’ve been scrapping for about 7 years—just after the birth of my first child, and that being my reason for starting also.
Where do you get your inspiration from? Ooh about a million different places! I get inspiration from my photos themselves and also from online galleries and magazines—but I find one of the biggest things to get me really excited is new product!!
Favourite subject to scrap? Such a cliché I know, but I have to say my kids……..but also as I live on a station I love doing ‘outbacky’ type, or scenery photos too.
One word to describe yourself? Scrapaholic
How would you describe your scrapping style? Clean and simple (mostly, anyway!)
Favourite kaisercraft product? Just one? I’m so fickle so I can change on a regular basis, but at the moment I’m loving the pearl strips—they are stunning!
Favourite Kaisercraft paper range to date? Ooh again, just one…….would have to be Skull Boi with Café Culture running a close second.
Favourite quote? “The early bird may get the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese”………no, something more profound?? I like this one—”The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing”
Favourite book? Anything by Marian Keyes—love her!!
Favourite music? I kind of like Australian folk-y type stuff like The Waifs, John Butler trio and Missy Higgins.
Favourite food? Fish and chips
Any tips for a new scrapper? When buying stuff, take it slow and don’t buy lots until you’ve scrapped a few LO’s and know what you like and what you don’t. You don’t need everything and you definitely won’t LIKE everything.
