Getting “Girly” with Kasiercraft’s Jungle Bug Collection
Having two daughters, and being a “girly-girl” myself (loving all things pink and sparkly), I tend to gravitate towards colors and patterns that are traditionally considered ”girly”. This makes it difficult at times to want to use browns, greens and blues on my projects. I have to remind myself that besides the obvious pinks, there are other colors and patterns out there that I can use just as easily, and with a few little touches, I can make them just as “feminine” as Iwant! I decided to take the Jungle Bug collection by Kaisercraft and “girly” it up a bit more to better suit my personal style:
”For You” 6×6 card by Nancy Burke. Materials used: Jungle Bug collection papers- Muddy Mess (P516- back), Leafy Green (P517- back), Dirt Trail (P519- front); paper pad (PP822); embellishment pack (EM916); paper flowers (F604, F605) mini alpha stickers (MA501); rub-on alphas (RB821). Other: sewing machine, thread, foam mounting tape, large scallop scissors, sandpaper, mini flower punch (flower center).
So grab those traditionally non-feminine papers and colors, let your creativity take over and see just how “girly” you can get!
