Getting organized

Monika says: “Love at first sight. Well that is what happened when I first laid eyes on the new large desk organizer that Kaisercraft released this month. It took me some time to decide how to decorate it, but I was shore I wanted it to have a shabby but chick look to fit in on my desk.

I have used lots and lots of chalk around the papers edges and I have also stitched around every paper. As the organizer needs to be practice, I have used a minimum of embellishments, but the lace and ribbon fits nicely to the shabby, old look I wanted to create.”

Materials used: Papers from Secret Bird Society: Mystery P544, Undercover P548, Disguise P547, Hidden Specialty paper PS110. Paper from Hippy Girl: Harmony P554.
Other: Lace and ribbon.

Vicki says ” the sage green colours are one of my favourite colours so I just had to use them to alter the large desktop organiser – add in flowers and rubons together with flourishes and of course the little bird and bird cage – and you have a gorgeous desktop organiser which is practical and inspiring”
