Hey Boy’s and girls! Layouts for girls and boys!
Many of you have children, grand-children, nieces & nephews and even cousins! But how do you scrap all those little boys and girl layouts in different ways?
Our Design Team explore just some of them today!
First up, Alicia uses the Rewind collection, adding patterned paper strips, due cut elements and alpha stickers to make a quick, simple and stunning looking layout!

Elizna drew inspiration from her layout from the photo. The face painting matched the Rewind paper collection perfectly!

Next up, Tanya show’s us that boy layouts don’t have to be scrapped with ‘boy themed’ paper. She uses Lilac Avenue to show us how cleverly it can be changed to suit a little boy!

Layout by Tanya Tahir: Lilac Avenue collection, black rubons, pearls, chipboard alphas.
We love Christine’s fresh and clean-lined approach to scrapbooking and it highlights the pastel colours and delicate prints of Lilac Avenue perfectly!
Here are a few tips to make a layout of your own just like Christine’s below!
* Layer die-cut tags and combine with rub-ons to create a cluster of elements that draws the eye
*Create a pretty border for your page using a scallop punch
* Consider using a monogram for a title to keep your page really clean and simple

Layout by Christine Rumley: Lilac Avenue paper collection, die-cut tags, black and white rub-ons, lowercase chipboard alpha, white Kaisercolor paint; Other: staples, lace, thread

Layout by Elizna Parsons: Lilac Avenue paper, die cut elements, brads, colour rubons.
Renee has created this clever stitched and distressed layout! We love it Renee!
Here are a few tips Renee gave for re-creating her layout below:
* Embellish a corner of the layout by stamping with the large flourish from the Lilac Avenue Stamp set, then add a wooden flourish and tear the corner off the overlying paper.
*Punch a small circle from paper before adhering to cardstock, and then poke hand cut vines and flowers through the hole to give a garden feel to a girly layout.
* Add a folded paper flower under one of the flowers cut from the Wisteria paper for added dimension.

Layout by Renee Ludlow: Lilac Avenue collection, Alpha stickers (AS204), Chipboard Alpha #3 (CB109), Brads (BD404), Ink pad (IP704), Clear Stamp (CS729), Die cut element (DC304), Wooden flourish-Fancy (SB724), Rhinestones-Lilac (SB705), Flower-Snow (F601).
And Tanya has created another stunning Lilac Avenue layout. We couldn’t believe her patience….she’s individually cut out all those flower shape! Awesome work Tanya!!
“For my layout I was inspired by the “Wisteria” paper and the gorgeous whimsy flower design. I have used two pieces of the paper – one for cutting out and the other as my background. To add dimension I have cut out the flowers from one sheet and adhered them over the top of the other using foam tape. I then simply added rhinestones, pearls and flowers to embellish them.”
