Hi, my name is Hilde. I’m 32 years old, married and mother of 3 gorgeous kids. I am a staying at home mom since the birth of our youngest son Thomas last March.
I live in the Netherlands near The Hague where the beach and the sea are. Besides scrapbooking I love to read, watch movies and crochet. And also take my kids outside to take lots of photos…;-)

How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start?
I’ve been scrapbooking for 5 years now. I always loved those beautiful papers and always walked around with my camera. So when I discovered scrapbooking I was hooked….never stopped since!
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Everything. Color combinations I spot in magazines, my kids clothes, my kids faces…..simply everything.
Favourite subject to scrap?
My kids…;-)))

How would you describe your scrapping style?
Shabby chic I guess. I like to embellish my work a lot

Any tips for a New Scrapper?
Look around at the internet and save all kinds of layouts which inspire you. Just lift some ideas you spot and make them your own….you will create your own style before you know it!
