A short paragraph about you. My name is Leanne and I come from the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland where I live with my husband and 3 children. I have been scrapping for about 6 years and am just as passionate about it now as I was back then. My husband just doesn’t seem to get the whole scrapping thing but is quite happy for me to toddle off to my room and play. The thing I love most about scrapbooking is that there are going to be photos with stories left behind when I have long gone and not just photos in an album.
My styles change constantly but I do tend to distress and ink a lot, even if it is a “classical” layout it can still have a little tear here and a little ink there.
We would also like it, if you to answer the following questions for us:
Name – Leanne Love
Kaiser craft Forum member name – pinkscrapper
Blog Address – http://www.loveleanne.blogspot.com
How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start? I have been scrapbooking for approximately 6 years and it all started when I happened to walk past a store with all these pretty papers in the window. From that moment on I was hooked. I had always enjoyed crafts but this was something that I really had a passion for.
Where do you get your inspiration from? I get my inspiration from so many places. I could be driving past something pretty or see an advertisement in a magazine, inspiration can be found everywhere, you just need to look. A lot of the times the papers will dictate how they should be scrapped which makes it easy for me.
Favourite subject to scrap – My favourite subject would definately have to be my children. I would love to scrap more of my husband but alas he has camera fright.
One word to describe yourself? My husband would probably say “old”, my girlfriends would definately say I am a bit of a “fruit loop” but I am going to say that “loyal” pretty much sums me up
How would you describe your scrapping style? I guess you could say that I tend to distress and ink a lot although on saying that my style does tend to change to suit the papers or photos that I am working with at that time.
Favourite Kaisercraft Product? Would have to be the bling or the rub-ons, wait maybe it’s the paint. Oh gee can I just say all of it?
Favourite Kaisercraft Paper range to date? That’s an easy question “Velvet Ensemble”, but it changes with every new release
Favourite Quote? “You must be the change you want to see in the world” Mahatma Gandhi
Favourite book? Anne of Green Gables (shhhh this can be our little secret)
Favourite Music? I don’t have any particular favourite music as our family have a very diverse range of listening tastes. Could be anything from Vivaldi to Metallica dependent upon one’s moods.
Favourite Food? Japanese
Any tips for a New Scrapper? Scrap for yourself, if you like what you have created then that is all that matters, if it feels right then just do it.
