How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start? Approx. 10 years ago but when looking back through my old albums realised that I sort of scrapbooked back then as I always used to keep bits and pieces from holidays and stick them in to act as mementos. A friend asked me to go to a Creative Memories meeting and like many other scrappers it was the beginning of an addiction. A visit to a local scrap store opened my eyes to many other brands and my obsession took off from there.
Where do you get your inspiration from? my three cheeky little girls, friends are always needed and books.
Favourite subject to scrap - Family and Friends
One word to describe YOURSELF? Loud (in the nicest possible way) – one word is really not enough…
One word to describe your scrapping STYLE - Layered (bit shabby but tend to try anything new)
Favourite Quote – When I stand before GOD at the end of my LIFE , I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and can say ” I used EVERYTHING you gave me” (Erma Bombeck)
Last Book You Have Read - Strength to Love (Martin Luther King)
Favourite Music? Jason Mraz, John Mayer , The Fray (layback)
Favourite Food? Chocolate and Seafood – Is COFFEE a food????
Favourite Kaisercraft Product? Mini Albums, no BLING is, nah actually the rubons – ohhh too hard – how ’bout the paper.
Favourite Kaisercraft Paper range to date? Sublime, or Spirography. My all time favourite would have to be Everblooming. (Im a sucker for anything green)
Any Tips for a New Scrapper? Try it all – straight and clean or shabby chic – find what YOU like. There are no rules – no right and wrong and DEFINATELY no such thing as a mistake. well actually if you do make a foopa you can usually cover it up. And at the end of the day if you like what you have created that is all that matters.
Your advice to the world… Live Each Day Like there is no Tomorrow.
