Monika Martinson
My name is Monika (Moma). I live in Sweden, just outside of Stockholm with my daughter and her father. I work full time at one of Sweden’s biggest companies with communication. I started scrapbooking shortly after my daughter was born in 2004 and I´ve been totally addicted since then.

How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start? Since 2004, I wanted to create something special with the first photos of my daughter.
Where do you get your inspiration from: I can get inspiration from almost anything, like from advertisements, art, TV, my own photos, nature and of cause from other talented scrappers.
Favourite subject to scrap: My beloved daughter Isabel.
One word to describe yourself? Creative.
How would you describe your scrapping style? Romantic, a little shabby with lots of flowers.
Favourite Kaisercraft Product? Just one? I love the wooden embellishments! I generally don’t do a lot of altering, but I am totally in love with every single beyond the page item of Kaisercraft.
Favourite Kaisercraft Paper range to date? To have and to hold
Favourite Quote? There are no problems, just challenges. (sounds better in Swedish)
Favourite book? I used to read a lot more when I was younger, nowadays I seldom have the time, but one of my favorites would be The mists of Avalon.
Favourite Music? Vangelis 1492
Favourite Food? Simple Swedish every day food.
Any tips for a New Scrapper? Don’t get a lot of stuff immediately, get a few nice paper collections, a few decorations and give your self time to find out what you like to work with, what is your own style. My first layout was a scrap lift and the second to. It was the perfect way to get started. Sketches are also often helpful.
