MORE Christmas layouts!

Need more Christmas spirit?

Check out more of our Design Team’s fantastic Christmas layouts!

The first from Pam Thorburn,

“I adore the ‘Dear Santa’ range of papers. They are perfect for traditional Christmas layouts, and when I saw the nutcracker I knew exactly which photos I was going to scrap. Here is Edinburgh at Christmas time we have the most fantastic Winter Wonderland-beautifully lit fairground rides, ice skating rink, and a fabulous German market. The German market sells all kinds of goodies-gingerbread, gluwein, and gorgeous traditional Christmas decorations, including nutcrackers. For my layout I cut the large nutcrakers out and raised them on foam pads to add some dimension to the page. I also added a splash of gold to give the layout some seasonal sparkle”.

Next up, a layout from Tanya Tahir,

“For my layout I have cut out the swirl and flowers and given them a light spray with white glimmer mist to add a subtle shimmer whilst still retaining the colours of the papers.  I have also used some clear crackle paint directly onto the raw wood flourish – this gives a lovely aged look.  You could also try painting your flourish first, then applying clear crackle paint if you prefer some colour.”

I actually don’t have too much on my list this year as it’s a year for cutting back. A few scrappy things I want include the KaiserCraft “Time Flies” clock, (you didn’t think I’d leave you guys out, did you?) some trusty Stickles colors, and lots of patterned papers. A NON-scrappy item (yes, there is such a thing!) is a teflon coated frying pan. :) My needs are simple, aren’t they? Thanks for listening to my ramble! -Peggy

I don’t wish for much as I think I have it all—3 great kids, 3 even greater grandchildren—the last of whom nearly died twice so I feel I cannot wish for anything more than his continuing good health, the happiness of his parents who are to marry on the 9th July and continuing happiness and health for the rest of my family but if I had have to have something for me—well what could be better than these bella papers. !!!!

11 scrapNshop { 12.17.09 at 4:05 pm }

1. To see my Mum and Oma for Xmas day.
2. Better health for all.
3. No more statistics for the road tolls.

Merry Christmas to all!

12 Louise C { 12.17.09 at 4:11 pm }

My list is very small too as this year I am so focused on my 3yo daughters christmas day. It’s the most christmassy I have felt in years and I can’t wait to watch her open her goodies.
I do want:
1. Photoshop program so I can have a play with photos and maybe even digital scrapping
2. some scrap vouchers for my local store where I really want to get a decent album – and some of the new duchess ‘revitalise’ range
3. Decent weather so all my family can sit on my deck outside for christmas lunch (20 inside will be a huge squeeze)
4. A decent book (or two) to snuggle up in bed with
Merry Christmas everyone :)

13 Kylie Abel { 12.17.09 at 4:13 pm }

Wow – I absolutely love the effect of cutting the swirls out and curling them to give a bit of dimension. Very effective!

My ultimate wish list (if money was no problem) is:
A computer-based personal cutter
A brand new car that has never been driven by someone else
A scrap room of furniture from IKEA
A Pandora bracelet full of beautiful beads

Realistically though I’d love…
A scrapping gift voucher to buy some cool stuff
A magazine subscription to SM or SC
Some board games to play with my kiddles
A fan for the toy room so we’re not sweltering all day

14 Debbie Y { 12.17.09 at 4:15 pm }

I don’t have a wish list for anything material as it’s just me and the boys, so my list would look something like this …
1. For my boys to have a wonderful Christmas
2. For everyone to be happy and healthy
3. For the world to live together in harmony
4. and a little selfishly, a sleep in for me.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas with their loved ones and please stay safe on the roads if you’re travelling.

15 Liz Fricker { 12.17.09 at 4:18 pm }

These are things I would like around Christmas time – they can’t be wrapped and placed under the tree, but to me they are more important than any presents:
1. Motivation where it’s lacking (sometimes in the scraproom, but mostly where there’s housework to be done)
2. Uninterrupted scrap time
3. Quality time with family and friends – stress free
4. Peace and harmony in the home

Thanks to Kaiser for lots of new ranges this year, looking forward to seeing what 2010 holds

16 Fiona Jones { 12.17.09 at 4:25 pm }

My top 4 things on my christmas wish list would have to be:

1. An uneventful and peaceful school holidays where my two adorable children do not destory something (is that 1 or 2 wishes lol).

2. A sleep in, just one I’m not greedy, 6 am is not a sleep in children!!!

3. Chocolate to become as important as fruit and veg on the food group pyramid, that way I know I’m doing something that I’m suppose to be.

4. and finally I wish for Kaiser craft to be open on days where my children are enjoying a few hours of their grandparents company so I can shop and scrap in peace.

17 Vicky { 12.17.09 at 4:30 pm }

1. To be able to step foot inside my scraproom/office so I can scrap! It seems that as I have bought supplies they have stacked up everywhere including the floor, not because I hase so much stuff but because it seems too much to clean than it has just gotten easier to dump and run – back to the scrap shops for the stuff that I ‘have’ to have. I literally can’t get into the room unless I empty it out. : (
