NEW Pearl & Lace Packs – more projects!

Did you see this post yesterday about our new Pearl Brad’s and Lace Packs?

No, well head there to see some awesome projects featuring these vintage beauties!

Today we’re featuring another three projects from our Design Team.

The first, from Leanne:

“Sugar Rush” layout by Leanne Allinson

Nothing shouts out to me as being more feminine than lace and pearls. So why not use it for that exact purpose! A girly layout! I have combined the La Di Da patterned paper collection with Kaiser’s new Pearl Brads and Lace.

To create a similar look on your page, try pleating a grosgrain ribbon (white) and machine stitch down the middle of its length. Cover the stitching with a pearl strip, but leave a space on the ribbon wide enough for the pearl brad, mounted with a small flower, to push through. Layer the ribbon over a strip of lace and simply adhere to your layout. Very easy, yet quite effective for a girly page!

Materials: La Di Da paper collection – Sing (p475), Hop (reverse, p477); 6” paper pad (pp809); die cut elements (dc311); lace pack – natural (em928); pearl brads – pearl (em930); pearl strip – champagne (pl506); pearls – chino (sb789), pearl (sb713); ribbon – monochrome (ri601); flowers – antique pink (f609); alpha stickers – white (as221); alpha chipboard #2 (cb108); ink – black (ip707); rub-ons – you & me (rb803); foam tape (t303). Other – bazzill cardstock – white; machine stitching; sharpie pen; Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

Mini Album – Kerryn Lawson

“I used the lace to create my own background for my album cover.  I laid a strip of lace over the cardstock (making sure to cover the rest of the cardstock with scrap paper) and sprayed with Maya Mist.  I moved the lace and scrap paper and repeated until the front and back covers were completely covered. The inside of the album is pretty simple with lace featuring throughout”.
