NEW Wooden Flourish projects!
Kaisercraft’s “flourish” embellishments are more than just chipboard… they’re actually made of real wood!
Check out our new ones!

Flourish baubles, 3D baubles and Hanging Flourish Trees

FL312 Small Flourish Tree (12cm high)

FL313 Medium Flourish Tree (28cm high)
Monika Martinson layout
I misted the background paper and used several of the rub ons to create frames and lines of words. The roses was made from strips of paper. The wood flourish Bauble that is this months core product, gives a perfect Christmassy feeling to the layout I think.
Items used: ‘Tis the season: Ornament P564, Chimney Die-cut PS115, Printed Chipboard CB115, Paper pad PP830, Rub-ons RB878, Clear Stamps CS751, Flourish Bauble FL307.Other: CS, ribbon, mist, title letters.

Kirsty Piper – Rhinestone Baubles
My favourite thing about Christmas? The BLING!!!! I decided to use these gorgeous Wooden Bauble Flourishes as decorations for my tree, and really BLING them up! I love how this technique could be used to compliment any Christmas colour scheme
1. Simply paint your wooden bauble on both sides in the same colour as your chosen bling.
2. Apply your bling, alternating sizes for added sparkle and interest!
3. Attach a ribbon to the top and hang on your tree! (or use this to really give a special Christmas lay-out something extra!)
Leanne Allinson – Holly Wreath project
Looking for that little something extra for your front door this Christmas? Well, make everyone feel welcome when they knock, with this easy project.
1. Assemble the Kaisercraft Holly Wreath and decorate using your favourite Christmas colours. I have used the “Tis the Season” patterned paper collection and paint.
2. Take a wooden flourish bauble and a texture stamp of your choice. I wanted to extend the Christmas theme and have used the music sheet clear stamp. Stamp the image onto the raw wooden bauble.
3. Thread some brown cotton/embroidery thread several times through the eye of the bauble and tie to the Holly Wreath so it hangs into the centre. Tie a bow with organza ribbon to the top of the bauble and then, once completely dry, hang in your entry way.
Materials Used: “Hanging Wooden Flourish”: Holly Wreath (sb2078); wooden flourish – baubles #1 (fl307); clear stamp – music sheet (cs757); Tis the Season patterned paper collection – Choir (p563); 6” paper pad (pp830); kaiserpaint – raw sienna; organza ribbon – red (ri616). Other – colorbox ink; cotton thread.
Trudi Harrison – Flourish Tree table decoration
Materials Used: Wood Flourish – Medium Flourish Tree; Pearl Brads – Pearl (EM930) & Pink Ice (EM932); Pearl Strip – Champagne (PL506) & White (PL501); Organza Ribbon – Natural; Grosgrain Ribbon – Natural (RI612); Antique White Paint (KC002). Other: Glitter Cardstock; Stickles; Roses; Flower Punch; Glimmer Mist, Chandelier Crystals, Jump Rings.
I just adore the new Kaisercraft Medium Flourish Tree and have given mine a soft ‘vintage’ look.
The flourish tree has been painted with Kaisercraft Antique White Paint. A coating of stickles platinum glitter glue was then applied. The glitter glue was spread thinly with a bristle brush. Decorations for the tree include handmade spiral roses from glitter cardstock and then sprayed lightly with glimmer mist; Kaisercraft Pearl Brads and Pearls; bows made from Kaisercraft Grosgrain and Organza Ribbons; paper roses and hanging crystals. Kaisercraft Pearl strips have been draped around the branches of the tree to finish the look.
Camilla Ekman – Tree decorations
At first I painted the Flourish Baubels with Kaisercolour metallic gold. To give them an extra Christmassy feeling I stamped on them with one of the ‘Tis the Season clear stamps. The red rhinestones are perfect to decorate with. The ribbon and lace give a final touch to the Baubels. I am going to hang the Baubels in my daughter’s window at Christmas time.
Wood flourishes – Camilla Ekman: Wood Flourishes – Flourish Baubels Pack 1 (FL307); Kaiser Colous – Metallic Gold (KC050); Clear Stamps (CS751); Lace – Cream (EM927); Grosgain Ribbon – Lovely (RI605); Rhinestones – red (SB711)
Stay tuned early week for MORE Wooden Flourish projects from Nerrida, Christy, Lesley, Kerryn, Karen and Vicki!!
