Svetlana says:
“December 25th collection puts me into very nostalgic mood, I just want to scrap something that really means to me “past” and “memories”. This little girl on the photograph is me. It is why this layout’s title and journaling are in Russian. Here is the translation of what I wrote: “I grew up in such a place and time where the celebration on new year replaced the celebration of Christmas. Even the Christmas tree was called New Year tree. There was no songs or poems about singing angels or the Bethlehem star. All the girls used to dress in the costumes of “snowflakes” and the boys were dressed as white bunnies… but even so, I have very warm and good memories of those times.”

“I love this range of papers. Originally I thought I would make a wonderful chest for my daughters bedroom, and just use the backs of the Christmas Pages, but it looked too wonderful to die a natural death in my daughters bedroom, so I added some Christmas Embellishments and the numbers from the 25 Draw Chest Kit to make the advent calender. I think little hands will really enjoy collecting the goodies they will find in each of these little draws leading up to Christmas Day.”

“Holiday Recipe Holder” by Lori Williams Leng

Lori says:
“Do you remember those adorable little aprons from the 50′s and 60′s ? That is exactly what I had in mind when I created this project. It’s a recipe holder that is going to look perfect on my kitchen counter during the holidays. It would also be perfect for a hostess gift with one of your favorite Christmas recipes to share.”

“Tip: Did you know our Kaisercraft rub ons transfer so easily onto ribbon? It’s a great way to create your own designer ribbons that coordinates perfectly with a collection. I added the Christmas Tree border rub onto some plain white ribbon for the sash around the waist. Just the perfect touch.”

“Silly Dears” Mini Book by Pearl Lui

Materials Used: Silly Season Milk & Cookies (P728), Gingerbread (P729), Journal Tags (JT626), Printed Chipboard (CB133), Paper Pad (PP851), Jewels (RS424)

Pearl says:
“The Silly Season “Milk & Cookies” pattern paper is awesome for a mini book because it comes printed with natural mini page delineations. My favorite part was embellishing the mini with Jewels, Journal Tags, Printed Chipboard, and die-cuts from the back of the 6.5″x6.5″ Paper Pad.”

“Christmas Angel” by Vicki Morris
Vicki says:
“What would Christmas be without a fabulous angel decorating your Christmas Tree. Here I have cut 1 straight circle and 3 scallop shaped circles and used these as a base for the Angel by layering them on top of one another. Add two cone shapes for the sleeves and add ribbon around the base and neck.
-SILLY SEASON-VICKI MORRIS.jpg )
I have used an old Christmas decoration ball as the head which works perfectly as the tie to hang it on the tree was already on the ball! As another tip – I have used an album ring and wrapped lace and pearl strips around it to make the halo. Use feathers and Kaisercraft Wooden Flourish: Wings to make the wings. Add sparklets and rhinestone strips and your angel is ready to fly!”

“The sleigh and the reindeer make very cute Christmas decorations. I am planning to arrange it next to our little Christmas tree. The sleigh can be filled with small gifts or lollies to give to friends, who will come to visit during the season.
I opted for vintage December 25th collection, as I wanted these decorations to compliment the décor of our living room. I used a lot of distressing on my project to give it more authentic look, as if these objects were in our family for many years. I’m sure they will stay for many years to come.”

The table centre is also ready! But at the time of my dinner, I’ll add some fresh flowers. It’s why I have chosen to paint inside of the sleigh (if there are some water leaks or humidity). The outside of the sleigh is covered with paper and I have embossed a pattern with gold powder (or stamped with Distress Ink few patterns of crack for a vintage style). Wooden flourishes, pearl flourishes, ribbon complete the look! I love to create with these papers!”

I then embellished further and created the ornament mobile arrangement with the Silly Season Printed Chipboard pieces.”

“Christmas Holly Wreath & Candles” By Vicki Morris
Vicki says
“There is something about Christmas and having a gorgeous table set for the Christmas dinner. With this in mind I wanted to do something subtle using the muted tonings of Kaisercraft’s December 25th collection.

I first altered the Holly Wreath using the Faith and Festive papers from the collection. Adhering the white netting to the back softens the look and made a perfect nest for the trio of candles which I also altered. By adding the colour rub ons, pearl strips, ribbon and mini blooms altered the whole look of the candles and made a perfect match for the dinner table.”

Materials Used:
Kaisercraft – Holly Wreath, Kaisercraft – December 25th – Festive, Kaisercraft – December 25th – Faith, Kaisercraft –December 25th – Rub ons (Colour), Kaisercraft – Pearl Strips, Kaisercraft – Paper Blooms – Coconut, Kaisercraft – Grosgrain Ribbon – White, Kaisercraft – Mini Paper Blooms, Kaisercraft – Acrylic Paint – Metallic Silver, Misc Netting, Ink, Candles and Flowers.
