Altered tin can – Monika Martinson
“I used an old tin can and altered it to keep my Kaisercraft paint in”.
Materials: Lace pack EM928 Natural Shades, Pearl brads EM934 Ice Green. Secret bird society paper Undercover P548, Paper pad PP827, Journaling tags JT603, Hippy girl Delilah Specialty paper PS112.
Gift Jar by Lesley Cooper
The pearl and lace packs are divine. They are fabulous to create a vintage homemade look.
I have created a ‘Gift in a Jar’. This is a chocolate and macadamia cookie mixture with instructions to make them inside the card.
I cut two different sized circles from calico for the jar cover and the yo-yo flower on the card. The calico I have stamped with the Hippy Girl clear stamps. Fabulous patterned material in an instant! For the flower on top of the jar I layered 3 pieces of lace of contrasting colour and size. I stitched along the edge and gathered it together to create the flower. I then put a paper flower and brad on top to finish it off. With the yo-yo flower I finished it off with one layer of gathered lace and a pearl brad.
“Gift in a Jar” – Lesley Cooper: Lace Packs (EM927, EM928, EM929); Pearl Brads (EM930); Hippy Girl Patterned Paper Harmony (P554); Clear Stamps (CS749); Rub Ons Birthday Cards (RB811); Paper Flowers (F622, F603)
