Wine glass tag and gift bag by Vicki Morris:

Wine tag and gift bags by Vicki Morris: Cardstock & Papers: Black Cardstock, Kaisercraft – After Five Collection – Debutante Specialty Paper, Kaisercraft – After Five Collection – Champagne Specialty Paper, Kaisercraft – After Five Collection – 6” Paper Pad. Embellishments: Kaisercraft – Alpha Stickers (Black), Kaisercraft – Rhinestone Flourishes, Kaisercraft – Lace pack– Black, Silver Leafing Pen, Misc Black Satin Ribbon, Misc Buttons.

Layout by Kerryn Lawson:

When you look at the flourishes don’t be fooled into thinking that you have to use them as they are.  I quite often cut them where they will be placed under flowers so that I can use them to maximum effect.  With this layout I have actually layered 2 flourishes over each other to give another completely different look again.

Layout by Kerryn Lawson: Pearl flourishes – Decorative Chocolate (PL517), Pearl flourishes – Classic Chocolate (PL513), Clear Stamps – Life Sentiments (CS763), Clear Stamps – Friendship Sentiments (CS762), Colour rubons – Secret Bird Society (RB872), Esther’s Guestlist patterned paper – Rachael (P341), Rosie (P342), Lucy (P340) and Abigail (P343), Homemade buttons (EM936), Pearls – Chocolate (SB792), Lace pack – white (EM926), Chipboard – Homemade (CB116), Chipboard flourishes – birds (FL304), Chipboard alpha #3 (CB109), Ink – Brown (IP708) and Sepia (IP709).   Other products used; Glimmermist, Diecutting tool, paper doily, flowers, envelope

Layout – Leanne Allinson

When placed on their sides, both the pearl and rhinestone flourishes immediately made me think of waves on the beach. I have overlapped the smaller rhinestone flourish with the larger pearl one to create a sense movement on my page. I have then intertwined bits and pieces from the Secret Bird Society collection to represent found objects on the beach and in the water.

“Little Explorer Boy” by Leanne Allinson – Secret Bird Society collection: mystery (rev, p544), classified (p545), conceal (rev, p549), undercover (rev, p548); 6”paper pad and die-cuts (pp827), elegant pearl flourish – latte (pl508); decorative rhinestone flourish – island lagoon (rs465); clear stamps – secret bird society (cs748), tags (cs760); ink – sandstone (ip710), paper tags and shapes – raw (em925); pearls –pewter (sb791); rhinestones – island lagoon (rs402); grosgrain ribbon – monochrome (ri601); tiny alphas – chocolate and white (ma512); die-cut elements (dc323). Other – buttons; string; machine stitching; cardstock; scallop scissors; ink; star punch.

Layout by Karen Shady:

I adore pearl flourishes but have always been a bit hesitant to use them often, because they can work out quite expensive. But , Kaisercraft have bought out a delightful range of flourishes, at a very reasonable price, so now I can indulge my love for flourishes, without going broke as well  :) .. I have used an older range of papers for this layout, which Ive had in my stash for a long time, called “Airy fairy” They are so pretty, Im afraid they got filed into the “too beautiful to use for any old layout” file, please tell me Im not the only one who does this :)   But I decided the pearl flourishes would do this beautiful paper justice, and Im really happy with the result.

materials list: Kaisercraft flourishes-pearl (PL507) & (PL511) Airy fairy patterned papers, dreams (P365), sparkle (P364), whimsy (P367), fantasy (P366), rub ons-forever (RB893), pearls-lavender (SB785) other: bazzill card, handmade cardstock flowers, prima flowers, Martha Stewart punches, dimensional magic.

Layout by Camilla Ekman:

Layout “Minne” – Camilla Ekman: Paper Debutante (PS126); Pearl Flourish (PL507); Pearl Flourish (PL515); Rubons – After Five Collection (RB884); Die Cut Elements – After Five Collection (DC329); Tiny Alphas – Black (MA513). Other: flowers, leaves, alpha thickers, border punch

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pearl flourishes! Let’s have a contest and call it “Robin’s Grand Prize, One of Everything KaiserCraft Motherload!”
Love you guys!

Little Explorer Boy…great inspiration! and all I have are boys!

3 Ann Cicilie { 11.21.10 at 3:47 pm }

I love all the flourishes, my favourite color is latte :)

How I would use them? I’d give a pack or two away, and use the rest of them on layout projects. It’s a well known fact that swirls and flowers looks great together, but I’m not really a flower girl, so I was inspired by the Litte Explorer Boy layout to try making something without the flowers :) Love how she mixed two different swirls on that one, and love the design.

4 Kelly Massman { 11.21.10 at 4:13 pm }

I love the black flourishes! I actually love them all! I would use them to make more elegant layouts — maybe do some wedding photos and some heritage photos! Thanks so much!

5 Karen Shady { 11.21.10 at 5:59 pm }

LOL Robyn… now THAT would be a comp worth winning :) thanks xx

6 Nicole K { 11.21.10 at 8:42 pm }

Please don’t make me choose just one!!! I love all flourishes – all shapes, all colours, all designs!!! I use them whole, I cut them up, I have them behind flowers, I have them as butterfly trails, I have them as decoration across a page, I have them as corners, there isn’t much I won’ t do with a flourish…..so like I said….please don’t make me choose just one!!! ;)

What a stunning addition to your already lovely scrapbooking collections! I like RS460 – Classic Champagne Rhinestone flourish and also PL513 Classic Chocolate Pearl…but all of them are really so handy to add that special touch to any layout or card….combined with flowers and tags or on their own as a decorative element….definitely a must have in my stash!!

8 Lisaspassion2scrap { 11.22.10 at 8:26 am }

I love them all! I have purchased one to date which is decorative island lagoon, OMG it was a tough decision narrowing down to one that would fit in to my scrap budget..lol, so to win them all would be fantastic. I plan to use my decorative island lagoon (which I love that there are 2 in the pack) on a layout with some waterberry papers I have saved :)

12 Maria Moore { 11.23.10 at 1:53 pm }

I just love all of the pearl flourishes, especially the chocolate.

16 Andrea { 11.23.10 at 1:56 pm }

I love the Classic – Antique Rose. The style and colour would suit any layout in any colour. It would look great on a special Xmas 2010 layout.

I think from all of them my favourite would have to be the Champagne
Thanks for the opportunity

21 Michellene Fryson { 11.23.10 at 1:59 pm }

I would use the classic black….to use on a layout about my tattoos. I have several and they all have a flourish element in them…my favorite would be the one on my hip…the flourishes are exactly like you have displayed with the exception my tattoos have jewels…large jewels…

Then I would use anything extra…on some cards…I want to make some cards to send to my fave girls (Mom and sisters). We share a Circle Journal book that is due to be mailed out again…it would surely look lovely with some of your gorgeous flourishes on the cover! :)

22 Nicola C { 11.23.10 at 1:59 pm }

definitely latte as I’m a confirmed coffee addict – I’d be sharing some with my MSN chat buddies who I scrap with online often! and the latte ones would be the ones I’d choose for the layouts I am doing currently of my teenage sons

23 Kate McCulloch { 11.23.10 at 2:00 pm }

the island lagoon rhinestones!! they sparkle!!

24 Rachel McMillan { 11.23.10 at 2:00 pm }

25 Jennifer B { 11.23.10 at 2:05 pm }

I like the layout “Minne” – by Camilla Ekman. It looks so perfect!

26 Jenny { 11.23.10 at 2:05 pm }

I’m working on an album for my sister’s 40th and the
pearl flourishes – Decorative Chocolate and Classic Chocolate – would go beautifully. They just add that little bit extra to the page! They look great.

27 Shannon White { 11.23.10 at 2:08 pm }

beautiful! beautiful! beautiful! Flourishes just give layouts and cards that extra beauty!

28 Donna L { 11.23.10 at 2:09 pm }

I LOVE the sparklies. I’d put them on every layout if I could :)

29 kerri { 11.23.10 at 2:09 pm }

I love the champagne rhinestone flourishes and the latte pearl flourishes. I have lots of old photos from my mum and the flourishes would add the perfect finishing touch to my heritage layouts xoxox

30 bindi johns { 11.23.10 at 2:13 pm }

i am going to use a ” elegant black ” flourish,
on my baby twin girls page,.
In memory of my little twin girl,
im going to put stars at the end of each of the flourish swirls.

31 Heather Willett { 11.23.10 at 2:15 pm }

I love the classic chocolate!! I do all my family pages in blue and brown so they would be a great compliment to my pages.

32 Katherine Lonuzzo { 11.23.10 at 2:17 pm }

I would have to say that the Classic Antique Rose RS461 would be my favorite as I could see it being used in my Breast Cancer Journey Album. I am making this album all pink as the color symbolizes the terrible disease that I had to conquer and many other women in the future. All shades of pink is being used in this album and I think the Antique Rose would be an awesome addition to many of my pages.

33 Loretta { 11.23.10 at 2:17 pm }

I love island lagoo. It would be absolutely be perfect for the brag book that is currently being made!

36 Denise Ackers { 11.23.10 at 2:20 pm }

I like them all. But the Classic Pearl stands out at the moment as I have been working on my daughter’s graduation photos and they would look lovely on one of the pages I am doing.

37 Cynthia { 11.23.10 at 2:21 pm }

The decorative layout is probably my favourite… I can’t pick a colour though, must own them all! (*fingerscrossed* to win the contest…)

38 Lizzy { 11.23.10 at 2:22 pm }

aaahhhh just one?? well if i could only have one i would love the classic champagne as it is so elegant and would suit any of the feminine layouts i do for my daughters…

41 Sandy L { 11.23.10 at 2:28 pm }

It was so hard to choose! I picked PL507 Elegant – Pearl, because it would fit so nicely on the corner of my wedding photo. I have been hesitant to scrap it, because I didn’t have “Just the right” embellishments. This is it!

42 kate blue { 11.23.10 at 2:30 pm }

I use a lot of dark backgrounds (namely black and brown) so my fav is the latte (PL512)…I would definitely use them on some vintage altered canvases & an altered tray that I’m to be working on for my bro-in-law since his wife recently passed…

43 Linelle Bird { 11.23.10 at 2:30 pm }

I love the chocolatye flourishes and I would use them on a BTP for sure!!

Beautiful! Would love to win some of these for girlie layouts and some cards.

45 Aimee D { 11.23.10 at 2:33 pm }

My favorite is the classic chocolate rhinestone. I plan on using it as the steam on a hot cup of cocoa cutout that I’ll make using my Cricut. Thanks Kaisercraft for a great giveaway!

46 Jodie Hayes { 11.23.10 at 2:35 pm }

I just love these and the examples are all great! Inspiring me to get some..

Elegant Black. I’m so glad you started making these, they are so versatile.

48 Kimmarie Baker { 11.23.10 at 2:44 pm }

I love them all but the beach layout really sold me on these two colors; elegant pearl flourish – latte (pl508); decorative rhinestone flourish – island lagoon (rs465). I would love to use them in the same way as the beach and ocean. My favorite place to be in the summer.

53 Sue Plumb { 11.23.10 at 3:16 pm }

I love the elegant black flourishes. I often use black doodling or stitching on my LO’s to add dimenion and a black flourish would compliment that perfectly! :-)

54 Steph Mitchell { 11.23.10 at 3:17 pm }

If I have to pick just one I love the pearl Classic flourish because it is so versatile and would be gorgeous cut up and added to a cluster of Kaisercraft flowers, similar to how Karen has in her LO.

55 Belinda { 11.23.10 at 3:18 pm }

Classic- antique rose. would use it on my girly LO’s!

Fantastic blog!

58 Sharon Hutton { 11.23.10 at 3:35 pm }

64 Amanda { 11.23.10 at 3:46 pm }

74 Kathryn Sandy { 11.23.10 at 5:02 pm }

84 Christine { 11.23.10 at 9:08 pm }
