Ohhh can’t wait for this one….. or two …. three would be great
I will cover it in paper, photograph whatever is going in each drawer and use the photos as labels for the drawers!
I am buying this one in bulk!!! Cant wait, neither can my daughter!!!
Am going to paint and cover in La Di Da. Emboss lettering add ribbon and bling!
hey that’s a great idea Kate!
I can’t wait to get mine… it will take pride of place on my scrapbooking table
I will be covering mine in the skaken not stirred papers and putting it in my sons room as he always misses out on stuff .
I would paint to cover it all up – then put some lovely patterned papers one them to dress them up – the Devonshire ones look fantastic. I also love the label holders on the front so it is super organised – definitely plan to lift that idea.
Then perhaps some bling for the finishing touches.
I think I will have to get a set and make them pink and purple and fill them with girly bits for my niece as well, oh gosh and I just thought of ideas for the boys too – well perhaps if I start now I could have them all done by Christmas lol.
I will paint the edges, then add various papers all from one collection. I like the idea of adding handles as well as labels.
I will mix it up a bit of paint and paper to match and look pretty with lots of bling.
I have a few ideas but the one that is in the lead so far is to use a combination of Lilac Avenue and Garden Arabesque. I have just started re-organising my scrap space and buying new storage stuff all in lilac and white so need to do these drawers to co-ordinate. Might have to incorporate the ribbon pulls too – love it!
i might use my lilac avenue would be soooo pretty.
i will use my prairie lane stash…just loooove it…
I think I wil paint it and collage some great drawings of my kids on it. It would be great to store some of their beautiful handmade gifts in it!
Definitely cover it in paper – Loire Valley I think!
I will cover some parts with papers and leave others plain.
I always like to retain the original colour
I would cover mine with pattern paper, use paint to give a rough effect, then put pretty embellishments, stamps and labels to complete it!
One of my favourite papers at the moment is the Loire Valley range it is classy but modern and funky all wrapped into one range. I have made some cards with the paper so far but I really would like to make a Magazine Holder and a matching storage drawers for my desk ..its about time I made something for me!
First paint, then cover in Shaken Not Stirred for the Boys’ Set and Devonshire for the Girls’ Set. To finish, create handles to match contents.
The storage drawers shown here look great, the first one is my favorite. If I bought these drawers they would look natural for a long, long, time, I can never make my mind up how to alter something like this.
Eveline.
I would of course cover these drawers with the latest PPs from Kaisercraft, more fantastic products!
Thank you.
Definately cover it in patterned paper………………just love patterned paper!!!! With one of the new ranges, good reason to purchase some new stash
??????, Devonshire looks great and versatile.
I think white paint, lace, a little bling and some little vintage glass drawer knobs to achieve the shabby chic look. My girls would love a set of these drawers for all of their secret little treasures. ok, ok, I would love some for my treasures too LOL.
Black and white with pink will match my studio.
My girls would grab it before I could blink and paint it (and I would try hard not to tell them which colours to use).
My favourite colour is purple, so lilac avenue would be the go. I love the label holders and pearls that Melissa has used.
These are totally cute!
I think mine will be painted hot pink, and then covered with Playtime papers – to match the other OTP’s I already have on my desk – I can’t go past bright colours for my OTP’s!
I would use a combination of paint and paper. Prairie Lane I think, but I could be swayed by something new in the Q3 collections.
After painting the advent calendar i’m over it now, so paper and bling will have to do. maybe dutchess with flowers and pearls? think something soft and sutle?
I am going to paint & sand and cover mine and then I am going to use for my lace ribbons!
I’d love to cover with pp from the gorgeous Flutterby collection, and then place small pics of my two lovely daughters on each drawer.
I would alter it for my DD. I would paint it then cover it with my papers that matched her room. I’d probably put flowers on the outside of each drawer.
i want this one i need organizerS atm so this will be perfect! i think i will try to alter this using Kaisercraft digital stuff.. an altered BTP and hybrid project in one
thanks!
I think I will have to paint some and use paper for some. I have some super cute Maya Road drawer pulls the will work! Oh the fun I’ll have decorating it!!!!
Oops first answer too long – here is the shortened version.
I would paint to cover it all up – then put some lovely patterned papers one them to dress them up & add some bling.
I would paint it white (to match my other shelves in the room) and then apply some bright paper with mult-colored knobs!
I will paint in white to coordinate with my new white shelving units Santa brought. I will cover in pattern paper b/c I love the look….probably from the devonshire line. I will then use little antique drawer pulls and hang a round chipboard tag (also painted) labeled with the contents of each drawer. I will also need one for the kitchen desk that always needs help in the organization area. thanks!!
LOVE these organizers soooo much! Really love red, white, and pink (not just during Valentine’s Day time) so I think it will be themed with these colors to go with my scrap space. Definitely using patterned paper and embellies! WOW!
Love these. I will paint first then add some pp. If I make one for DD I will use Lilac Avenue as she is a purple girl. If I make one for myself then probably use pink and brown to match my scrap room. Love the idea of Alison’s ribbon pulls.
I would alternate paint and paper, use some stamps and add some ribbons.
I’ll be painting it up in some shades of brown and cream and covering in some gorgeous patterned paper (still deciding which KC one…so much to choose from!!) Then adding some bling of course and some cute little labels to the front and stocking it up with my essential and regularly used embellies
This is going to take pride and place on my scrap table, aka my dining table. I might have to get a few and get really sorted and look completely organised!!
I’m planning on free-hand drawing in pencil over the drawers and finishing with a clear lacquer. Simple but eye-catching.
ohhhh….i would certianlly paint the corners brown first then paint the whole think antique white then sand back a bit where i painted brown first then varnish so i can have a shabby sheek look to match my bedroom, then try to find somwhere i can get some crystal little handles. i think it would look too cute!
Loves the storage drawers..have an idea to use die-cuts as labels for each drawer coordinated with matching patterned paper
I am going to paint it and use the Airy Fairy range. It is going to be perfect for my 3 yo daughters bedroom for all the little ‘treasures’ she collects and wants to keep
Just what I’ve been looking for! I would paint it, cover the drawer fronts with a nice floral paper, and add some hand-painted roses on the top and sides. Also a bit of sanding and light staining for a weathered look!
Must paint first! even the inside of the little boxes!! I might use vintage white for that! Then of course cover boxes with Lilic Avenue I think. I want something soft and girly. Add little ribbon pull tabs and a sample of each embelishment on the front so I can see exactly whats in each box! Can’t wait to get started!
This is one of those “gotta have it items” and I can’t wait to get mine. Several actually but I have to find them in the store first and that is going to be the hard part. I would love to carry them on my web site. I will probably decorate the drawers with pricess papers and use a crown for the pulls, then give one of them to my grand daughter, she would love it.
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE BTP you guys, i am definately gunna use Lilac Avenue and some paint too……
can i say i really like Kate’s idea back up there ….thats a fantastic idea
now to cross fingers !
Paint all over in mocha. Cover drawer fronts with one sheet Sublime. Satin ribbon pulls – in the least dominant colour of the paper.
I would definitely start with a coat of white paint to match some of my other scrapbook storage items. Then I would get crazy with the patterned papers and I love the big brad knob idea so cute!!!
Paint, paper and my newest favourite thing dimensional magic!!!!
I’m going to paint the outside and paper the drawers inside and out!
Linen or other thin material , stamp, and glimmer mist.
Lilac for sure and a whole lot of bling!!!!
Does anyone know who won the comp??? I keep checking back but can’t see who won!!!! Is it just me?!! I am blonde!
i would paint it, add paper and then bling it up!!
I would paint it, add paper and embellishments! I love this.
I am going to get 2 and cover one in girlie stuff and put it in my daughter’s room. Then the other I am going to make all boy and put it in my son’s room. They can keep all their treasures in them.
I’d paint it and use PP Empire, Bling and brads or buttons. or do the same but use Shaken not stirred pp.
thanks for the chance.
I don’t think it’s you Kate P, I don’t think they have announced it yet. Fingers crossed
Fingers crossed for you to Louise C!
[...] for our TWO storage drawer WINNERs from Tuesday [...]
[...] Q3 Blog Party product highlight – Kaisercraft Storage Drawers … [...]
Paint first, then Add some patterned paper and embellishments. Love these and will need several!
omgosh…so glad you will have these! For sure painting first, then some Tim papers and nice labels using metals…cant wait for these to come out! ty ty ty !
These cute drawers look like the perfect place for all my Idea-ology stuff (speaking of trinkets and charms)! Paint, then paper and Tissue Tape!
Ohhh I’d have to paint it, then cover with Tim Holtz papers, scruff the edges then ink ‘em all up! I have a half wall in my crafting alcove and that wall would look great with these all along the top of it holding my treasures!
These would make excellent storage for my butons! I would cover each drawer with a picture of the buttons I am putting in that drawer and use actual buttons for the pull.
these are great storage for scrapbooking goodies!!!
i’d paint all the drawers different colours then on the front of each drawer i would put a different pattern of gypsy sister paper and put a different embellishment onthe front of each drawer and use brads as the pull.
paint each drawer a different colour and cover with different patterned paper then add embellishements and labels. also have brads as the pull
