How long have you been scrapbooking for and why did you start? I have been scrapping for nearly 5 years now. It all started when my mum gave me a beginner’s scrapbooking kit for my birthday and it all snowballed from there. A friend of mine got into it at exactly the same time, and I think that having someone to scrap with right from the start made me get totally addicted straight away.
Where do you get your inspiration from - I get inspired by all the gorgeous products out there. As soon as I see papers I love, I’m usually planning right away what I’m going to do with them. The layout is usually already started before I even look through my photos, and then it all comes together from there.
Favourite subject to scrap – My 2 beautiful children.
One word to describe yourself? - Laid-back
How would you describe your scrapping style? – I don’t know if I have a particular style but I do like lots of layers and using lots of products on one page.
Favourite Kaisercraft Product? – Rhinestones, Flowers, Stamps, Papers – I love it all!
Favourite Kaisercraft Paper range to date? – Fun Fair and Mumma Bushka - They are just so cute!
Favourite Quote? – Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Favourite book? – The Twilight Series
Favourite Music? – Pretty much anything, but especially Pink and Abba at the moment.
Favourite Food? - Chocolate.
Any tips for a New Scrapper? - Don’t take it too seriously. It’s supposed to be fun! When I first started I used to I used to try and scrap in chronological order, and wonder what I had to do for whose album. I was always trying to get “up to date”, and scrap every photo. Now I realise that it doesn’t really matter if not every photo gets scrapped. I’ll never be up to date, but my kids will treasure every layout I have made for them, and I have a whole lot of fun in the process.
