Same but different

Two very different layouts from the one paper collection!

Layout: “Live 4 Today” by Rona Bailey.

Here I have used a sheet of paper from the paper pad, to create a frame for my photograph, I have mounted the framed photo onto some corrugated cardboard that I have inked with Kaisercraft ink (aubergine). I cut flourishes to use as embellishments that were mounted with foam dots.

Layout: “Camping” by Elizna Parsons

Camping is most possibly not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of this range of papers….? But the teals worked very well with my photos…believe it or not… but you can even use this paper with photos of elephants and frogs!

The page layout was inspired by Donna Downey’s book “A photo-first approach to designing layouts”…I love the simplicity and style of scrapping portrayed in this book.
