Tuesday Tip – reusable packaging: Using KC die cut sheets as masks.

Tuesdays Tips 16

Stop! Are you throwing away your scrap packaging? Don’t!! There is a million and one ways to use it up.

Today Fran shares her tip on how to use Kaisercraft’s die-cut sheers as a mask or stencil!

Here’s an example of one of Kaisercraft’s die-cut elements. Once you’re finished with them, keep the sheet!

Step 1.) Simply place your used die-cut sheet, wrong side up, over your paper.

Step 2.)Holding it in place, ink inside the ‘stencil’.

Step 3.)Then grab a different colour ink and stamp an assortment of stamps over the stencil as well, as shown. (Here Fran has used Child’s Play, Duchess, Loire Valley and Pennyroyale).

Step 4.)Voila-cute little embellishment on your page! Cut out as an embellishment or leave as a background focal point for your layout!

This is great tip, nice to see I’m not the only one (seasoned rubber stamper) who does this kinda thing.

The large pocket that the die cuts come in actually fit 2 cuttlebug embossing folders in them, side by side!
