Tuesday Tip – Turning paper flowers into butterflies
We loved Nancy’s tip this week! How clever!
“I love looking at embellishments from a different perspective and coming up with different uses for them other than what they were intended for- ‘”thinking out-of-the-box”, if you will. So with this in mind, I found a really pretty way to use the small 5-petal flowers in a way other than as flowers. By snipping off one of the petals, and adding a few sparkly gems and a little bit of pen work, they are easily turned into dainty little butterflies! I simply LOVE how they turned out! So keep this great idea in mind for all of your upcoming Spring/Mother’s Day/Easter/Gardening projects. ”
“Also following the “use NOT as intended” concept, I created this card with the Christmas Carnival patterned papers for something other than a Christmas-themed card. By purposely NOT using the patterns in the line that are obviously Christmas (the ones with ornaments and trees on them), I was able to use them for this Friendship card.”
