Two day Christmas layout Extravaganza – Day 1

Today and tomorrow we will be sharing some fantastic Christmas layouts from our Design Team.

We’ve got layouts of kids opening presents, work christmas party layouts, scrapbooking new Christmas traditions and more!

The first layout is from Renee, here’s her tip on how to scrap your Chrissie photos,

“Christmas is all about being happy and cheerful, but there are also bound to be some tears and tantrums.  Dont forget to scrap these moments, because they are as much a part of Christmas  as the presents and the tree (or at least they are in my house).”

Scrap all those Christmas moments – good and bad!

Next up, a layout from Tanya,

“For something different I decided to scrap this photo from my work Christmas function.  On it’s own you can’t tell it’s a Christmas photo but once scrapped with this fun and bright Christmas range, it instantly becomes a Chrissy layout!”

Don’t forget to scrap your Chrismtas party photos!

Christmas Carnival - Nikki AntonelloMaterials: Christmas Carnival papers, rubons, epoxy stickers (embellishment pack), die cut elements, wood flourishes.

“It’s really nice to take photos that document the special traditions that your family participates in during the lead up to Christmas.  For this page of my kids decorating a gingerbread house I used a series of photos to help show the fun we had during the process, as well as a photo of the final product.  The Christmas bauble hanging on the right side of the page was cut from the swing tag on the product packaging.”

Record your Christmas traditions – making Gingerbread houses, decorating the tree, checking out the Christmas lights…. and more!

We also have a couple of more Christmas Cards from Nancy Burke:

“For this card, I wanted an elegant, yet simple look without having to do alot of work, so the stamps were perfect for this. I used simple stamping techniques with red and black inks. I normally only use one or maybe two different stamps on a single card, but the stamps in this collection are so versatile that I was able to use three. I added the green strip of patterned paper and notched the end to give it the look of ribbon. I used the large pearl brad to anchor the faux ribbon and I finished off the card by shading all the edges lightly with brown ink.”

Dear Santa card 2- Nancy Burke

Materials: White cardstock for card base, Dear Santa patterned papers- 6×6 pad, stamps and pearl brad from Dear Santa Collection Black, red and brown ink Foam mounting tape Adhesive.

“I created this card using strips of patterned paper cut at varying angles and widths. I added the strips to a pre-measured piece of cardstock and then trimmed off the extra patterned paper. I shaded the edges of the rectangle lightly with brown ink and added this to the card base. A strip of striped patterned paper, also shaded with brown ink, “anchor” the rectangle to the left side of the card rather than leaving it just floating in the center of the white card base. I added a couple of layered die cut tags and ribbon for dimension and texture. Since the background has so much going on, I decided that adding a simple punched circle of patterned paper and a red pearl were all the copper washer-type brad needed to finish it off”.

Dear Santa card 3- Nancy Burke
